Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I love 5th graders. I am so excited to begin the year with a new group of kids. The students at my school come from low-income households and truly appreciate those extra things that make them feel organized and ready to learn.

My Project

Most of these supplies are replacements for supplies that I used the past few years. Card stock and batteries help me give students the opportunity to innovate and build critical thinking skills with maker space activities.

I can't wait to create and engage my students in person for 2021.

I have seen teachers use a spinner wheel in their classrooms to select students for accountability and use as classroom behavior incentives. The chances are my students will love it.

I want to start off the year with everything in my toolbox.
