My Project

My students are energetic, curious and love learning. They come to school everyday eager to learn new things. Meeting their personal needs is top priority for us to see them flourish academically and socially.

Learning can be challenging for little tummies that grow hungry really fast throughout the day.

Our students eat lunch before 11:00 each day. By 1:00 pm they are famished after playing at recess and going to the Arts. Most students do not eat the entire lunch and also do not bring lunch from home.

It has been financially challenging for myself and my co- teacher to keep up with supplying them with healthy snacks throughout the year. Providing their favorite nutritional snacks like pretzels, popcorn and more will keep them excited, motivated and satisfied.
