My Students

My students are diverse and quirky, focused and energetic, studious and creative. They come from a variety of different ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds and circumstances and have a wide range of interests. They're ridiculously well rounded for teenagers!

Regardless of their backgrounds, one thing that they all have in common is a deep devotion to their education and a desire to learn and grow as young theater artists.

They're always willing to try something new and love engaging with history and civics!

My Project

We need chart paper, markers and pens so that our students can engage with project based learning projects and political cartoon creation and a printer cable to they can print out primary sources to engage with! Just the basics!

So, sometimes the basics of the classroom don't feel like the most exciting, but they are so essential to helping us finish the year strong!

Having additional resources in our classroom means that we can break away from some of the more traditional style of instruction towards the end of the year and engage our students in a different way as we finish off our school year with a political cartoon project!
