This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a Dual Language Teacher and most of my students are ENL students. I have been working in small groups but we are limited in having physical copies of decodable books.

My goal is to have a decodable library with books and activities.

I would love to continue working with my students in small groups and target the phonics relationships with more resources.

By having our own decodable books, students will have a stronger love for books and more confident in their phonics skills. They can continue and broaden their knowledge using the resources and have fun with new books/activities.
