Students in our First Grade Classroom will tackle tricky concepts such phases of the Moon and why the Sun appears to move across the sky though it is the Earth that is actually rotating! We will also learn about daylight hours and seasons. Having a model that students can manipulate and explore themselves will help them feel more confident in making predictions and sharing their learning.
This model will complement other instructional strategies such as videos, drawings and the use of STEM Bins.
I know my students will love having this in our classroom!
