Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

What fun it is to go outside, feel the sun, and do some exploring! This is what my students will be doing when school starts, exploring our small schoolyard.

My students live in a very large city and attend an inner-city elementary school.

And they're all surrounded by concrete. Most of my students receive free lunch. We have a super-fantastic school, and students who love coming to school! Since they do live surrounded by concrete, I want to give my students the opportunity to explore. This project will give my city kids a glimpse of the green world.

My Project

The science materials will help the students learn more about plants and discover Earth. Our headphones are old and won't be replaced by the school. Headphones will allow students to hear audio books that will spark interest in Science. Also, the headphones would be helpful for the students to listen to their recorded observations before they write it in their journals.

These materials will provide my students with the necessary resources to explore and discover science concepts in our required curriculum.

This upcoming school year I want my students to discover that science can be sensational. By funding this project, you will assist my students in developing their education, and enrich their experience in the classroom.
