This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our Elementary is a home and learning center for a group of diverse, enthusiastic learners! My name is Ms. Jessica, and I'm a pediatric occupational therapist. I have a passion for supporting students and children in a wide scope of areas to help them achieve school goals. In Occupational Therapy, we work on providing a multi-sensory approach working on kids' fine motor, gross motor skills, executive functioning, social emotional regulation and learning. The tools on this list such as theraputty, sand, and fidgets may help the kids focus more in class as well as self-regulate. Most of the students that will access these games and activities are young children 5- 12 (k- 6th grade) with developmental disabilities.
