Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from high-poverty homes. This devastating crisis has kept them out of school, missing snacks, and without school supplies. They are fabulous and appreciative students. Most are from homes where English is a second language. I am hoping they can receive some materials to help support learning at home.

My Project

Please help give our students a summer learning goody bag to help support learning at home. Every student will receive a bag with crayons, a notebook pencil, and a treat. These items will help them create stories, write, draw, and respond to reading.

What better way to connect with students during the summer months.

Our students have missed weeks of school and it is important to give them some supplies to help continue their learning. I cannot think of a better way to connect with them and give them a treat. I would like to deliver these bags to our students to check-in and show them with care and are still thinking of them.

Please consider donating to this project to help reach students who are less fortunate than others. The achievement gap should not get bigger during his devastating crisis.
