This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Students work hard all year to learn many skills. It is beneficial to keep the learning up over the summer, but many parents are not able to afford activity books and items to assist with this. Therefore, their children lose out some during the summer months. With these items, it will give the parents some activities to use with the children at home over the summer to help get them ready for school to start again in the the fall. Most of my students will be going to Kindergarten in the fall, but some will be returning to preschool.
Continuing learning over the summer is important for kids.
