Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each year as an SLP, I work with students in grades K-5 with ASD during their month long summer camp, which allows them to spend time with their friends working on social skills and keep a sense of routine which is often difficult for them to handle change, while also having fun. I am hoping to provide them with memorable moments in camp with the help of outdoor games, art supplies, and activities that will keep them engaged and continuing to utilize the skills they learn during the school year.
