Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My special needs students would have a blast with this end of year summer gift! They have worked hard all year and have grown leaps and bounds. I am requesting some summer themed items to show them it's time to have some fun in the sun! I'm planning to teach about the summer season in the last couple of weeks and discuss what we plan to do on our time off. In addition to what I am requesting, I plan to include a short book, some fun coloring pages and worksheets that incorporate the summer/water theme.

Most of my students are autistic so I've added some sensory toys they can use at home.

My little cuties can use the buckets at the beach or with sensory sand that I have gifted them before. And of course, they love snacks, so I included some cookies!

I also included some storage bins to help me pack up my class in an organized fashion. I always use whatever boxes we can find on campus and it ends up a mess! I would really appreciate the help!
