Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This end of year marks a very important accomplishment for my kindergarten's students. I would like to recognize their milestones by giving them this end of year gift that includes a pool drawstring bag, a towel, sunglasses, pool inflatables, along with some magnetic toys, slime, and playdoh.

We have learned about the ocean and this gift is meant to promote their unique traditions and social-emotional skills while they experience some fun outdoors.

Being a first-year teacher that started this January, saying goodbye to them will be difficult because they have taught me more than I could have taught them. I expect to see them next year and while this time not in my classroom, I would love to hear all about their adventures and observations of how different ethnicities enjoy our open spaces in the summer.
