Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a bunch of little creative minds. Most of them are low-income English Language Learners considered at risk. Despite these challenges, they are always eager to learn and succeed.

The lack of bilingual material is always an obstacle for students to learn in their first language.

Therefore, having the Summer Bridge Activity Workbook in Spanish will be very beneficial for them to continue their learning throughout the summer break.

I will encourage students to use this workbook at least 20 minutes a day. This will help them to retain what they have learned during this year; so that when they enter kindergarten, they don’t have a big gap or regression in academics. The snack will be an incentive for them to work on their workbook.
