My Students

Our students are very eclectic in personality, learning style, cultural background, and life experience. Our classes consist of a combination of general education and special education students. They are all positive and motivated learners that work as an educational community. We all have something to learn from each other and make it a point to support each member of our learning community academically, socially, and emotionally. We love displaying our hard work and sharing it with the school!

Our students are strong individuals who have to be very independent in their home lives in order for them and their families to survive on a daily basis.

They often have younger siblings to take care of and many of them have no help to turn to when completing homework. Often, my students come to school hungry in the mornings and all students receive snack midday. Very few students are able to provide their own snacks so we provide it for them.

It is a challenge for our students to obtain supplies to maintain the everyday functioning of the school day. Things like pencils, erasers, paper, tissues, paper towels, art supplies, etc. are necessities and should not be luxuries. Thank you!

My Project

These tissues, paper towels, and basic school supplies with help us be successful on a daily basis. From something as simple as blowing our nose, or needing a pencil to write, our supplies will aid in the everyday functioning of our fourth grade community! We love to publish our work for our school community to view. We also enjoy expressing our knowledge through art as we find it a creative and calming way to demonstrate what we have learned. With the appropriate supplies we know our class can succeed at whatever we put our hardworking and creative minds to! We can't wait to put our supplies to use!
