Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students during summer school learning will need these materials in order to make a significant difference in kindergarten learning for several reasons, addressing both the developmental needs of young children and the unique educational challenges of this age group. Kindergarten students are in a developmental stage where they learn best through hands-on activities. Summer school materials often include manipulatives, art supplies, and sensory items that allow children to explore concepts through play and experimentation. This hands-on approach is critical for my young learners to grasp abstract concepts.

The summer school program I will be teaching will focus on reinforcing skills learned during the regular school year.

Learning materials such as worksheets, laminated educational games, and interactive activities using materials such as markers, easel pads, and Play-Doh provide opportunities for practice and mastery of foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social development. My students are excited and eager to learn, I want to have the ability to give them everything they need to set them up for success with fun learning and exploration!
