Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is dedicated to preparing our students to be successful socially, emotionally, and academically both now and in the future. We believe that through our commitment to learning, collaboration with families and the community, and collaboration amongst educators that we are preparing our students to become the next generation of leaders.

As a special education teacher, I strive to help my students become active learners within their classroom community.

I want them to succeed alongside their peers and become independent thinkers. I work alongside teachers in different grade levels. By working together we create an environment where every student can reach his or her potential.

My Project

We just started the school year and we are in need of some items to make our small group learning even better! Students work with me in a small group daily, and white boards are essential to the work we do. It is also more fun to use dry erase markers than pencils!

By donating to my project, you will help us have more engaging small groups.

You will also help me give students who do well have a break to make different images with Perler beads. It will also be nice to give some students stickers for doing well in our groups.

Whenever they get to use these items, they get more excited about their learning.
