This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Kindergarten is a pathway to learning! Having small group instruction is key to my little one's success. I am hoping to give my students flexible seating and tools to help them thrive in my classroom.

Giving them a flexible seating to keep them engaged in small group instruction is imperative in their learning.

My hope is that small group learning will be an area they will learn both reading and math topics to help them succeed individually.

My students come from a low socioeconomic area where many lack basic skills before coming to kindergarten. I want their first experience to be inviting and enjoyable. Both flexible seating and creative writing tools, along with snacks to fuel their brains would mean the most to my littlest learners. They attend full day kindergarten, and it would mean so much to have these tools in my classroom for a successful year!
