Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As an educator and a mother to a special needs child, I recognize the diverse needs of students and the varied tools necessary to ensure their success. My students have shown their unique needs in learning. Working one on one with my students, I recognize their hidden gifted potential. With this project, I aim to give them an opportunity to hone their fine motor skills while also providing a safe space to express their creativity and sensory needs.

Every child learns differently and each tool added as a part of my project is intended to target my students' sensory needs and create a learning plan tailored specifically to them.
