Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a fun and loving bunch. They are eager to learn new things and are excited to come to school everyday. I want to give my students the best and this project will help support students that may need extra tools to learn. The sensory tools will help students relax, stay calm, and focus on a particular event or situation. These sensory tools will provide comfort and security to help them when they need it. The sensory ball is designed to give students a hug, the plush ball helps reduce anxiety and soothes the senses when kids slip it in their arms and give it a little squeeze. I have also asked for small sensory toys for students to use discreetly. When they are in need of a break. In addition, my students need bright paper and posters to keep our classroom looking bright, cheerful and engaging for my students.
