My Students

Our school is a large, urban, public school with almost three thousand students. Our population is incredibly diverse with students walking our halls from almost every continent. Despite the many challenges they face, they all tend to have one thing in common and that is a desire to do well and be successful.

Being able to provide quality sports programs can make all the difference in these kids' lives and provide them with the structure and discipline needed to foster success in any of their future endeavors.

My Project

My student-athletes will benefit immensely from the use of the power sleds and parachutes. During the off-season, football players prepare their bodies to enhance performance. The sprint parachutes will enable our student-athletes to strengthen their core (lower back and abdominal) region throughout the off-season. The strength sleds will provide our student-athletes with the opportunity to enhance overall musculature thereby preparing their bodies for the rigors of the upcoming season.

The off-season training regimen is not only designed for performance enhancement but, more importantly, for injury prevention.

The acquisition of this equipment will enable our student-athletes to reduce the risk of injury through the strengthening of critical muscle groups which are stressed during live gameplay.
