Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Physical education is about teaching kids the importance of physical activity and exposing them to a wide variety of activities. All activities require practice in order to become proficient. When students have to wait in line to have a turn, the success rate of learning these activities goes down, as well as proper behavior in our class setting.

The equipment that is being requested can help alleviate these problems.

Students will have the benefit of having their own piece of equipment to work with at their own rate which improves success. When teaching sport skills and games, students need to know where to stand on the playing field. Poly spots and cones help with these situations. Rainbow colored equipment also helps students with game play and classroom management.
