My Project

Thank you for taking a look at my project for funding a subscription to Upfront Scholastic News for my High School classroom. I use these magazines every day in my classes for Do Now Activities, debating, topic discussion and styling articles for my Journalism classes. This year I also used the previous magazines in my Summer School classes as a Do Now activity in the morning and research and recall on some articles where decisions were made or mysteries were solved at a later date.

These magazines make the news matter to teens with current events detailed that inspire meaningful reading, thinking and discussion that help teens engage with the lesson and the world around them.

There is also a digital component with topics aligned with instruction, videos to elaborate, and support for differentiation for all skills provided for teacher use. Thank you so much for considering a donation to this project! :)
