Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am going to self-fund this with a gift card, however, for the past few years it has been a goal of mine to create a Maker's Space to give my students some entrepreneurial skills to build their confidence to build potential online businesses. In particular we are working on looking at custom product design, logo creation, website development and integration with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify.

We also want to give them the inspiration to create prototype designs and artwork that is sellable, or even just for personal use.

The confidence and inspiration to create and express and be productive is a jealous therapeutic activity indeed.
