My Project

Each day, my students come to school mentally prepared to learn, but are unprepared with the supplies they need to access instructions.

My class is has a genuine love for learning, and a true determination to succeed.

Because of their drive it's difficult to tell them no. We have been successful thus far, however we are missing so many crucial materials. Unfortunately, teaching at a Title 1 school in Baltimore, Maryland can be pretty challenging.

I know once my terrific second grader's receive these materials their learning will be endless, and full of fun!

Teaching at a Title I school provides many rewards, and challenges. One of those challenges is having all of the supplies necessary for my students. As a result, my students can only achieve success this school year by having these basic supplies. The supplies will be used to complete our math, literacy, and science lessons. These supplies are inclusive of paper, pencils, dry erase boards and markers. The paper will allow me to make copies, the pencils will allow students to always have a writing utensil, and dry erase boards will be used for math and literacy assessments.

By choosing to give to my project, my students will have the opportunity to complete all of the 2nd grade curriculum successfully.
