My students have bright eyes that are ready to take on learning so many new things in Kindergarten. We are in a K-8 building in a rural town in southeastern Ohio. They have already come so far and I know they will continue to impress me every day.
My students are creative, energetic and very loving.
We have just started learning our "centers" procedures and they are so excited to get them going to enhance our learning in a fun, meaningful way.
My Project
Learning should be fun and engaging. No student should be bored sitting at their desk all day. Kindergarten is a time to learn while we are having fun doing it! Moving around the classroom helps these wiggly kindergarteners get out their engergy while still learning everything that is expected of them.
Centers are a great way for us to differentiate activities so ALL children can learn!
I want my students to learn how to work independently and LOVE learning. If this project is funded these are the activities that they will be able to do. They can read along to a book being read to them on the listening center speakers with books on CD, spell sight words on the colorful trays, practice writing sight words on the lapboards, or make sentences on the pocket chart. There are endless activities to make learning fun!
