Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in my senior-level humanities class have the opportunity to learn about culture through the ages by focusing on the literature of that time period. My students will be reading the Epic of Gilgamesh, Beowulf, The Canterbury Tales, The Prince, and A Christmas Carol.

All of these titles represent not only great literature, but lessons about the social structure of each time period.

I have copies of three of the five titles, but need the last two on my list.

Students always love to have their own copies of books, and having The Prince and A Christmas Carol will be a benefit to them and their study of the humanities.
