My Students

I teach in a large, suburban, public school district located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I work in a school with a diverse population which makes teaching fun and exciting. Each day my students come into the classroom ready to create their own original music. My students have build an exceptional collection of music, and they take pride in creating music. Their success is my success.

My students are amazing at creating unique music!

I love their vibrant energy, smiles on their faces, and their willingness to learn and to never give up! We are creating an environment where it's okay to make a mistake. This is a classroom that sets high expectations and never gives up on the students!

My Project

Have a good set of studio monitors will allow the students to hear their projects in a real studio setting. When we present the students' projects, they listen through headphones which takes the group critique away from the group. If we do play them out loud, they currently are either played through the computer speakers or the speakers in the room which are not meant for presenting in a music technology class.

In our new mixing studio, students need to be able to hear and move around the studio to adjust their mix.

This will free them up from a cord using headphones.
