Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Studio Dragon is the space provided to a group of highly creative students whom I am very proud and honored to be guiding in our theater program. They are fearless and genuine in their designs and performances, developing multiple life skills that are being used in their everyday experiences. Many of them have discovered additional talents they did not know they possessed and now are excited to be sharing with others. The last project is the production of their original script, set, and costume designs along with the last performance. This one summarizes all the technical instruction acquired throughout this academic year. Because of the number of students working daily on these productions, we need to replace our supplies, like the colored pencils, the electric pencil sharpener, and the wireless speaker for our musical theater.

Thanks to donors like you it is possible to achieve their dream theater designs empowering them to give an unforgettable performance that will remain in their hearts as a wonderful memory of their academic years along with their friends.

The performing arts inspire people to become creative and collaborative with others developing multiple skills that are used daily and throughout our lives.

From these classes, a group of talented thespians have become awarded actors and designers at a District and a State level in the Theater Competitions in Florida. They have also been invited to perform in New York City and The Fringe in Edinburgh, Scotland, and the program has alumni working at a professional level in important venues like Disney World and other production companies. We thank you for your support of our program and our Dragons. Long Live Theater!
