My Students

Students at our school love to create! This is the third year of the visual art program at our school and it is an opportunity for them to express themselves and translate their ideas into visual form. This is the first time we've been back in the "art studio" since March 2020.

My Project

These materials help make the art room a clean and safe space for everyone. We need extra materials this year as we are spread out across the room and sitting far apart, which means we can't share materials. We need extra materials for cleaning our spaces and sanitizing as many students come in through the day. Our sketchbooks are an essential part of our art practice and we use tools like headphones, stress balls, and playdoh to help us stay calm and focused while we work on our masterpieces! The shaving cream is for our upcoming project on marbling.
