My Project

Please help my fourth grade students access hands on math materials and real world, current event reading resources to help them improve on these academic skills. Now more than ever our students need interesting, relevant activities that encourage active engagement and opportunities for them to think deeply about world events through resources appropriate for their grade level.

Math manipulatives help the students understand concepts such as place value, geometry and fractions at a deeper level.

Many students are only able to think about math abstractly after having engagement with hands on materials.

Scholastic News articles entice even my struggling readers to read, as the articles are relevant, interesting and always spark discussions and debates in the classroom.

Please help me supply these resources to our fourth grade students.
