My Students

My students come from a community of hard-working families that emphasize coming together for the greater good of our students' future. Students at my school come from a variety of backgrounds and school is their safe haven and a place for them to call home and try to find the best version of themselves. As a history teacher, it is important for me to try and provide my students with enough content, support, and belief to help them recognize and be the best version of themselves. My students work hard inside and outside of the classroom, and I try to make sure that they leave my class as better people than when they first came in.

I look at my students as my own kids—I spend so much time with them day in and day out that I get to know them beyond their intellectual capabilities.

Their social, professional, and academic goals are among the many things we discuss on a day-to-day basis, and I pride myself on being a champion of the students. They deserve the best and I try to provide that for them inside and outside of the classroom.

My Project

Help give my students the ability to be more creative with their assignments and projects by giving them a color print and laminating machine. These items will help my students get more in touch with their creative side and allow me to give them access to and necessary tools and resources in my classroom. My students are very artistic and will benefit greatly from your generosity, especially as many of them get back to the classroom for a sense of normalcy during these times. All in all, anything is appreciated and my students and I will be very grateful!
