My Students

My students are in temporary housing. I am the community coordinator and I support students and their families with housing, benefits, and all other needs.

While many of my students are experiencing displacement, homelessness, doubled up, ​etc.

many of them are still doing well in class and are resilient enough not to let those circumstances stop them from being all they can be.

My students are special needs and are diagnosed with different mental, educational, or social disabilities. They still work just as hard as the students in general education.

My Project

Hello! I work with students in elementary school from pre-k to 5th grade. This year is going to have it challenges due to some of our children going into the building and some learning at home!

This project is to fund much needed PPE equipment for the students who are entering the building and those at home who do not have much.

I have asked for paper towels, hand sanitizer, facial tissues and gloves. I have equipment to show them projects online too to keep them stimulated. I also picked up some boxes and gifts like books for students to still have a reward system for the children who are doing well and send packages to their homes. I would like to have some blended students in student government assist me in projects for their remote classmates and others around the community to put a smile on everyone's faces. I also added protective gear for tech equipment and organizers. Please assist me in making this school year an amazing one and spreading the love!
