This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work specifically with Students in Temporary Housing ( homeless, foster-care, asylum seekers, etc). Creating an organized, safe space for my students is a priority, as it will allow them to feel like the office is a home away from home. Implementing comfortable seats, and desk and providing snacks that they will have access to at all times.

Students in temporary housing have limited resources and experience several challenges throughout the school year, providing these supplies will allow me to create a welcoming space for the students.

This will allow me to continue to build relationships with my students and provide the necessary services. All students want to learn in a safe space, & I need your help to provide them with this opportunity.
