My Project

Thank you for taking the time to look at my project. I am a Second Grade teacher in a Title 1 and low income district. The items I have included in my project will be used to assist students in regulating their emotions in a safe and kind friendly way. Research supports a calming corner for classrooms. It provided a place where students can go when experiencing a big feeling and are unsure how to work through it. It also provides a place for students who are not ready to transition from home or learn on specific days. My number one goal in my classroom is that all students feel loved and supported. This project is another way I can provide support of students.
