My Students

My students are 6th graders enrolled in World History and Geography and 7th and 8th graders enrolled in Yearbook.

The majority of my students are from a lower socioeconomic background, who possess a strong desire to graduate from a 4-year college and beyond.

They are bused in and are from diverse cultural backgrounds. They are middle school students who are eager to learn, are happy to be back in school, and want to stay in school.

My Project

My students need basic supplies including paper, highlighters and erasers.

Because we have so many special needs students at our school, we have to make sure that the desk is ADA and IDEA compliant.

I am requesting a desk with drawers to set up a computer and printer workstation and store our supplies. I need a desk that will be wheelchair accessible. Currently our school is using furniture from approximately 50 years ago, most of which is falling apart and is unsafe. Our district does not provide the funds to purchase items of this nature. Please help us to build a station that will last for years to come.
