My Project

Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) are essential tools for supporting students with special needs. Creating effective work containers and learning boards for IEP students in the areas of language arts and math can significantly enhance their learning experience. The objective is to develop customized work containers for IEP students, create engaging and interactive boards for language arts and math, ensure the tools align with IEP goals and objectives and evaluate the effectiveness of these tools in supporting student learning.

I will choose appropriate storage containers that are easily accessible and organized, label each container with the student’s name and subject area (language arts or math) and include a variety of materials such as workjobs, manipulatives, and digital devices tailored to each student’s IEP goals.

I will set up interactive boards by dividing the boards into sections for different activities or concepts (e.g., vocabulary, reading comprehension and math).

I will develop engaging activities with using Teacher Pay Teachers ideas that include language arts (Include activities such as word matching, sentence building, story sequencing, and comprehension questions) and math (Include activities such as number matching, solving equations, graphing, and using manipulatives for hands-on learning) .

I will align with IEP Goals to ensure that all activities and materials are aligned with the specific goals and objectives outlined in each student’s IEP and customize activities to address each student’s unique learning style and preferences.

I will implement and monitor student work, monitor student progress and provide support as needed and last regularly update and rotate activities to keep students engaged and challenged.

Last, I will evaluate effectiveness by collecting data on student performance and engagement, use assessments to measure progress toward IEP goals and make adjustments to the work containers and boards based on evaluation results.
