My Project

Students need to be able to learn in an engaging environment in which they feel comfortable. I want them to feel confident and be successful in school and learn to love the journey of learning. It is so fun to see their faces when they figure out the assignment through exploration and connecting all the information they have been given. We frequently integrate reading, writing, science, and math. It is so great to see them talk about learning and how much fun it is to be in school.

My students are from low-income backgrounds and don't get many opportunities to explore or try new things, and these materials will allow them to do both.

The wireless mice will make using the Chromebook easier to work with. My students are given many interactive assignments that require them to frequently click and drag. We have a major financial literacy project coming up and they will need them for that. Many find it difficult to complete these assignments with the Chromebook mouse pad. These materials will help with daily lessons, assessments and creating projects. My hope is that having a wireless mouse for each student to use while at school will help to eliminate stress while working on assignments and assessments.
