Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach Family & Consumer Sciences. The classes that would benefit from this project are my Education & Training students. They are assigned a mentor teacher at two of the elementary schools in our city. As teaching assistants, they help the teacher create bulletin boards for their classrooms and that is part of their grade for their class.

My student's attend a Title I school and funding is not readily available for all things needed.

I would like help in providing them with equipment to make the best bulletin boards for their assigned classrooms. A Cricut machine would give them the ability to design stellar bulletin boards to catch the attention of teachers and students alike.

My Project

My student interns will use the Cricut paper cutter to make bulletin boards. These bulletin boards are part of their assignments at their mentor school and also at our high school. They will also create other material as needed for their assigned elementary classroom.

My students would benefit from a Cricut because it would allow my students to choose from a variety of fonts and formats to produce amazing products and projects for their mentor teachers.

The Cricut will cut time on doing things manually one by one like with the old school die cuts. Thank you for your consideration in donating to my Education & Training students.
