Help me give my students all of the supplies they need to be successful in the classroom an at home including composition books, calculators, notebooks, folders, pencils, dry erase boards and markers.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I work with a diverse group of students with disabilities in a high school math special education program.
My students often struggle to understand and apply new concepts in school, and they need resources for at home and in the classroom to complete their classwork and hands-on activities. Many of my students are from low income families, and they struggle with providing all of the supplies their children need to succeed. Having tools readily accessible to bring home is essential for the struggling learners in my classroom.
My Project
My students need more math tools and supplies to help them explore new ideas both at home and in the classroom. I am hoping to restock my at home/classroom supplies shelf with all of the items my students need including scientific calculators, notebooks, graph paper, white boards, pencils, and markers. This will help them show what they know while working on their problem solving skills. As they progress, they will be able to do team projects using the white boards, markers, and paper to share their work with the class.
