Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our schools counseling program aims to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for all students. This project seeks funding for resources and material to enhance our counseling services, focusing on: Mindfulness and self-care initiative, social-emotional learning programs, college and career readiness.

Your donation will help us foster a positive schools climate, improve student mental health and well-being, enhance academic achievement and success, and also support student's social-emotional growth.

The items in this project has been intentionally chosen to provide students a calming space with mindfulness tools, such as stress balls and kinetics items for different activities. Having snacks, like chips and cookies, helps because many of my students do not have a lunch period. The iPad can help students with guided meditation, relaxation music or exercises.

Every students deserve a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. by donating to our counseling office, you are helping us provide essential tools and resources to promote students success, well-being, and lifelong achievement.
