Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students learn so much better when they have some food in their stomachs. Our school lunch is early in the day and many of my students are hungry by the last period of the day. They are always asking for food and when I have it to share they are able to concentrate and do their work.

These snacks will be given out at the beginning of my last-period class so my students have more energy to study and focus.

Just imagine trying to learn history in a language other than your home language with an empty stomach! Please help fund our snacks for my 6th-period class so we can power through the rest of the day.
