My students are always helping others. We run an active tech team of kids who learn technology with the intention of presenting and teaching what they learned to others. We have presented to educators around the world!
Students will 3D model and print customized interfaces for practical application of these neuroscience tools.
This grant provides an amazing opportunity for our students to use their skills in modeling, design, and 3D printing while learning about the human body and how they may use that to help others.
My Project
Every world class scientist starts with a story about learning something that totally changed their outlook on the world. Our school actively looks for opportunities for our students to give back where they can by learning about a topic and teaching that to other students, teachers and their community. The tools requested will provide the lessons for students across the district to learn about neuroscience and the electrical nerve network that controls our bodies. We have 3D printing and design lessons in our district.
These tools give students the chance to build custom interfaces for people with limbs or needing another way to control robotics.
The kits introduce practical application of neuroscience in the classroom they can experiment with. Who knows how far they can take these lessons and give back!
