My Students

Students in our German 2 classroom have designed student lead projects promoting fitness and activity and need materials.

Our German 2 students planned an activity to share German learning and improve student health through 60 minutes of physical activity every day.

We have multiple levels of German Students in the Middle Grade age range. Students come from mixed economic backgrounds and learning abilities. Part of our learning core is to have a healthy lifestyle and play in sports that are part of the culture of Germany. My students planned a soccer team for German and need materials to record playing and language practice as well as soccer balls. We learn about healthy habits and language skills.

Students in our classes have been taking German for one to three years and are working to increase their proficiency. They are newer learners and preparing for high school and career decisions. Students will use this area and increase their activity to 60 minutes a day.

My Project

Students in our German 2 class are planning to have a German soccer league to improve student wellness in the 9th grade with other language classes. Students need materials for their teams. Teams will wear GoPro cameras while playing and record themselves speaking German and doing team improvement in German. Students plan to represent Germany in their league and want to improve student fitness with over 60 minutes of physical activity a day. They planned to get soccer balls for the German team and some goals for their team. In their plan the German class will have a practice daily for 60 minutes and work for health and compete against teams from other languages. They will also talk about Soccer and improve cultural awareness.
