This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me give my students the essential class supplies that will help them kickstart their college fair projects. It will be our school’s first in-person college fair since the pandemic. Our students are excited to get started!

Your donations will help our AVID students effectively research their favorite colleges, design and display their college information, and most importantly, express their enthusiasm for higher education.

Our student body is from a working class community. Most students will be first generation college students. Every student in our AVID program filled out an application, interviewed, and demonstrated their individual determination to pursue a college education.
