My Students

The goal of my classroom and my district is to provide an EPIC education. We engage, prepare, inspire and challenge all students, teaching Ohio's standards by providing engaging lessons that are differentiated based on the individual needs of my students.

My students attend a suburban Title I school in Ohio.

They are excited to write and publish their own created work. By having a small laminator in my classroom will allow my students a safe way to laminate their own projects in our classroom. The students will become an independent author and publish their work.

My Project

My students love to write and publish stories. What better way to encourage student authors to write and publish their stories than allowing them the privilege and opportunity to self-laminate their stories. Students will be able to preserve their work and it will allow them the opportunity to share their work with many other students for years to come. By using the Scotch Thermal laminator will allow them to safely laminate their own work by themselves.

This project will allow my students the opportunity to be self-efficient and publish their work in minutes right in our classroom.

First and foremost writing is a very important part of each students education. Writing is a component of the third grade reading guarantee. I believe my students will incorporate this classroom laminator into their enjoyment of writing because they will hang a tangible product of their publication. Thus creating a motivation to publish their own work!
