My Project

The items I am requesting will help create a welcoming and safe space where students and parents can openly communicate with each other and school staff. Many students struggle with personal and academic challenges and having a comfortable environment can improve their ability to learn and succeed.

A computer desk will provide access to digital resources for discussions about grades, assignments, and future planning, while chairs will encourage meaningful conversations.

A child’s play table, crayons, and coloring books will keep younger siblings engaged, allowing parents to focus on important discussions without distraction. My goal is to foster stronger family-school connections, improving academic performance, behavior, and emotional well-being.

Many families struggle with communication, and this space will serve as a bridge to build trust and encourage collaboration. My students are resilient, resourceful, and eager to learn despite facing challenges at home and in the community. For many, school is their primary support system, and providing a space where they feel heard and valued can make a lasting difference. This project will empower families, promote positive engagement, and give students the tools they need to thrive in and beyond the classroom.
