I am a a second-grade teacher at Dixon Elementary School. This is a low-income school in North Carolina, and our supplies are very limited. I am in desperate need of more supplies to increase my students' literacy skills. I would like to have magnetic letters and magnetic boards so that my students can use them to improve their ability to spell, write, and read. I am trying to substantially improve my students' ability to read by providing a variety of ways for them to learn words. Children learn best when they are having fun and are fully engaged, and children really like to use magnetic boards. The magnetic letters are quick and easy to change, so the students can learn to spell a lot of different words. Using these magnetic letters, which are fun to handle and move around, will hold my students' interest. The more ways students can make words, the better. Please help my students to increase their reading and writing skills by providing magnetic boards and letters. Thank you for helping.
