My Project
My early learners who are beginning 1st grade in September are going to work on building strong reading habits this year. As they strengthen their reading comprehension, phonics and vocabulary skills, it is important that they have enough books to practice with. These books, of varying levels, will help my students as they expand their reading levels throughout the year. These books will allow them to have meaningful discussions within their partnerships and compare/contrast their own lives to the topics and characters they may be reading about.
