Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are wonderful children who are motivated and eager to learn. All of my students are English Language Learners. We have an 87% poverty rate and our school qualifies for the free lunch program. My students are bused in from a community with a heavy gang presence.

Each day my students walk into my classroom with a positive attitude and an inquisitive mind.

They are loving, respectful, caring, and energetic. They show a thirst for knowledge and an eagerness to learn something new each day.

My Project

These materials will help give my students a stronger connection through distance learning. It is so important during these times to be able to reach every student. Many times our connection is unstable, causing a disruption in our learning. These materials will help my students stay connected and engaged.

Everyday my students are eager and excited to log into our Zoom sessions.

These materials will help all students and myself to maintain the connections we need to succeed. My students are grateful for all of the supplies that help continue the learning from home.
