My Project

These materials will give my students the opportunity to have incentives to strive for success. Learning isn't easy for everyone and sometimes, we have to provide something for our scholars to look forward to for an added push.

Working with students of a vast population and being in a Title I school pushes me to think outside of the box to encourage my scholars to reach the potentials they didn't know they had.

Students learn in different ways and having a multitude of supplies will help them reach their goal. Something as "simple" as holding a pencil, isn't so simple to all, so the added support of a pencil grip, will help guide them in this task.

The weighted stuffy will provide my students comfort during times of learning frustration. This will allow my students a calmness when they feel they "can't". We will name our support guide as a team and make him one of our learning buddies.

Toy incentives will provide eagerness to push through and keep going, knowing that due to their completion of a task, they can select a comfort toy. Having phonics games will make learning fun. My scholars will be absorbing knowledge without even realizing it. These "games" will give an added level of wanting to strive to thrive.

These items will overall, give my student the willingness and want to learn, keep going and push harder.
